I believe you are right with your suggested approach, Amir. It is contradictory and foolish to practice the same oppressive, inhumane and merciless actions as your opponents. It is a sad state of affairs when revolutionaries take on the guise of their enemies in order to overthrow them, but then forget to discard it once they are in power, which happens far too often. Having said that, action will be necessary, since Ahmadinejad and his followers will not go down easy. But just try not to lose your own dignity in the process. This police uprising is definitely a good sign. Power to the people!

Dear all iranian people.

The fate or your bloody regime is written; everybody knows it. The only thing we dont know is how manys days weeks or months will it take, and how many innocents will die in the path.

You’re doing well; and when your bloody regime is over, never again allow any dictator to be back in power. Democracy (islamic stlye, or non islamic style) is the only way to progress, peace and justice. Keep on fighting until your right to be ruled by those really chosen is fulfilled.

Many other countries have overcome dictatorship, like South Africa, Chile, Serbia, Poland, Ukraine, Brazil…
DON’T GIVE UP. The time for freedom in Iran is about to come

I recently watched a TED Talk on this new innovation that allows people to report on violence and protests using there mobile phone. It then puts the data into a googlemaps mash up that allows for tracking and coordination. It is a life saving and world changing feature. It is incredibly important for human rights and with the current protests, will be ever more relevant.

I don’t agree. In last revolution, they executed Shah’s forces and many politicians and we ended up with this shitty regime. We should show mercy this time to show our enemies that we are not like them. Besides police officers are only the pawns. The real evil is behind the curtain.
